Poetry is a clear window into the heart. I often write to express the thoughts and emotions inside me--not knowing what will appear on the page but invariably discovering more about myself and the world around me.

Have you ever wondered?
Truly been curious
About the darkness
About mystery
About what you can never know

What would it be like?
To embrace what you don't know
To accept that life is full of illusions
To understand that you are not in control
To assume that truth is slippery

How would it change your life?
How would it change your conversations
If you could stop arguing
Stop convincing
Stop defending your beliefs
And simply be

Peace is found here
Real life is found here
In this place of embracing mystery
Living with not knowing
Sitting with curiosity
