Poetry is a clear window into the heart. I often write to express the thoughts and emotions inside me--not knowing what will appear on the page but invariably discovering more about myself and the world around me.

Once upon a time
A fairy tale of sorts
A princess

Play with me
She calls
Frolic in the fields
Like bees drawn to sunflowers

Stay with me
She insists
Get to work
Make a difference
Fight the system

Explore with me
She calls
See what's heart
Challenge your body
Climb the mountain

Meditate with me
She offers
Feel the energy
Open to possibility
Experiencing real-ness

Once upon a time
A fairy tale of sorts
A princess
